The Methods for Building Self-Confidence for Women

By Tom Pierson posted 07-20-2020 19:49

Everyone is born with self-confidence but societal norms and environmental factors tend to beat it out of women. We’re supposed to behave in a certain way. We’re supposed to look a certain way. But, when we fail to meet the standards set by an exploitative society that is largely patriarchal, self-confidence dwindles.

The process is often so slow, that it is only noticeable once it has completely rendered women as ‘less than good enough.’ There are remedies for rebuilding self-worth and becoming self-confident again.

Create goals and achieve these

Begin by setting small goals that you feel confident about achieving. Goals may include getting up every day, putting on make-up, dressing well and looking good. When you look good, you’re more likely to feel good about yourself. Superficial maybe, but this is one step in the right direction.

Start to set bigger goals for yourself, such as self-improvement through short online courses that focus on education. Volunteer at an institution to help people or pets. There’s nothing better than making a difference in the lives of others to feel good about yourself. Every goal achieved is one step closer to rebuilding your confidence.

Improve your physical appearance

Back to improving outward physical appearances to boost inner confidence! Get that breast augmentation or lift that you’ve been wanting after having children. Surgery in the form of a breast reduction, lift or augmentation is a surefire way to get you feeling young and attractive again. Dr. Egozi is a leading name when it comes to breast augmentation and he has a proven track record of best results.

Expert medical surgeries are also available for tummy tucks, thigh lifts, neck and facelifts and ‘mommy makeovers.’ No more worrying about fitting into clothes or not being able to wear what makes you feel good because of body parts that just won’t play along anymore.

Go for a rhinoplasty, chin augmentation or an eyelid lift if that’s what will boost your self-confidence. Remedies are available, so use them to feel better about yourself.

Remember to take care of your own needs

An insurmountable task? It may seem this way but unless you take time out to make yourself a priority, no-one else will. Also, unless you take care of your own needs, you’ll get to a place where you can no longer take care of everyone else. Remember, too, that only you can insist on making this change and implementing it.

Unless you do, others will continue to take advantage of your good nature, constantly putting you in second and third place on the list of priorities. You have children who need you and a husband that needs you too! But you are a deserving individual who also needs attention.

Experiment

Take the time to exercise your curiosity about life, and start experimenting again. Make a decision to try new things that you’ve always wanted to do, but have felt you have never had the time or money for. Take a course on how to make cupcakes or sign up for skydiving.

Push yourself beyond the comfortably frustrating boundaries that you’ve allowed yourself to be complacent about. Put yourself out there to meet new people and do new things. You’ll be surprised at how much more resilient you are than you gave yourself credit for.

Change behavior to change yourself

‘Fake it until you make it”. Sound familiar? It’s not just an empty saying. Start visualizing the new you, and begin taking actions that align with the person you want to be.

By changing your outward behavior, you are effectively creating a new person aimed at growing self-confidence. Ignore the doubts in your mind and just push forward. Only you can make the change you want to see so grab life with both hands before it passes you by.
