ASCO myConnection Champion

The myConnection online community platform was launched to provide ASCO members the opportunity to collaborate, participate in in-depth discussions, and build meaningful connections with professional peers. The platform consists of communities by both topic and interest areas, in which Community Champions will help to facilitate discussions among community members.

Member Responsibilities

• To write and post seed questions intended to spark discussion within the group, and work with staff to create a schedule as to when they will be posted.
• Login to myConnection at least once a week to engage with community members and facilitate discussion to ensure a sustained level of community activity, the minimum of which is expected to be two member-initiated posts (either within the discussion or the resource library) per month.
• Reply to member inquiries made by community members in a manner that encourages engagement by other community members.
• Work with ASCO staff to prepare community for launch (prepopulate site with Events, Announcements, Library items, etc.) if applicable
• Attend a community tutorial to become familiar with the platform tools.
